The Athénée Royal d’Ixelles

Created in the 1950s, the school accommodated only female pupils. Following some unrest at the school, it was renamed Athénée Royale d’Ixelles in order to give it a fresh start. The school currently has 52 teachers and 370 students from families with financial constraints or generally disadvantages backgrounds.
