Raising Funds, Raising Awareness
As a non-profit organisation, SATW relies entirely on donations. The money raised goes towards projects to inspire students around the world.
With administration costs borne by the relevant C&W office, all donations go directly towards the events and activities organised for adopted schools. So every mile run, auction organised, cake baked, bicycle pedaled, quiz challenge or tournament played will help SATW.
Throughout EMEA, individuals have organised a variety of events, committing personal time and energy to raise money. Some of the fundraising activities are listed below but the scope is endless and suggestions for new events and ideas are always welcome:
- Sponsored runs / cycle rides
- Charity auctions
- Triathlons
- Charity dinners
- Annual development awards
- In-office collections boxes
- In-store collection boxes
- World Cup sweepstakes
- Netball tournament
- Restaurant auction
- Cooking contest
It is important to remember that SATW is a charity in its own right and, although it has links with Cushman & Wakefield, it is by no means exclusive. So please feel free to involve as many of your contacts, friends and family in further activities and fundraising.
