Project Bob - Bruges or Bust

The late John Travers (ex-Senior Partner) who founded SATW, dreamed of one day actually building a school in Africa. Through SATW, C&W is putting plans together to build a new secondary education boarding school at Miono in the Bagamoya District of Tanzania. The school will accommodate 768 students with 12 classrooms, 3 laboratories, a library, dormitories and living areas for 384 students as well as the normal additional facilities and conveniences. The Tanzanian Government has secured approximately $2m for the project and Schools Around the World are committed to raising an equivalent sum of money.
Help make this dream a reality and support our challenge
C&W's UK Capital Markets Group has accepted the challenge to assist in this fund raising and on 29th & 30th April, fifty members of the team (young / fit and old / less fit) will attempt a sponsored cycling challenge from London to Bruges in Belgium. The team aim be met in Bruges on the evening of Friday 30th April by not only the Tanzanian Ambassador but many of those who have been supporting this project since its inception.
Help us reach our target
Their target is to raise £50,000 which will go a long way towards providing a lot of the essential services which are needed for the school construction to take place such as water, electricity supplies and transformers, access roads, etc as well as the establishment and fitting out of at least two classrooms.
Do please help the team to achieve our ambitions with this fund raising challenge by donating whatever you can, either online on our Just Giving page or by sending a cheque addressed to "Schools Around The World" to Tim Sketchley here at Cushman & Wakefield.
