Physical Challenges and Activities

Physical Challenges and Activities
As part of our initiative we are encouraging our schools to take part in activities and challenges outside of their normal experience.
- Our Prague team organised sports for Children’s Day in 2010 and 2011 with staff spending an afternoon with the children.
- Our team in Budapest organised a day to paint and decorate the headquarters of a charity that provides manufacturing jobs for handicapped and disabled people.
- In Portugal our Lisbon team arranges weekend activities for children without families once a month. The children are encouraged to get involved in activities and have fun. A recent trip included a visit to the Badoca Safari Park.

Volunteers from our Moscow office supported the end-of-year party at Bolshaya Peremena last Summer which included a quiz with prizes of English books and Scrabble; pizza; song learning and singing.
- We also supported and took part in United Chari Games – Charitable Run (administrative, marketing, team sponsorship) in June 2011.
- Women in Property hosted an outing for 62 Lilian Baylis students aged 11/12 to Waterloo Bridge in London to learn about how it was rebuilt during WWII by a labour force that was 70% women. Students were given an insight into life during World War 2, the variety of job opportunities in engineering and the built environment.
