LeJog 999

A team of seven keen novice cyclists from Cushman & Wakefield led by associate Dafydd Hughes, together with Arwel Williams from KPMG and Dylan Williams from Property Alliance, will soon be donning their lycra and embarking on a gruelling 900 mile bike ride to raise money for the firm’s charity, Schools Around the World. They start from Lands End on Saturday 29 May and aim to reach John O’Groats on Sunday 5 June.
Following in the footsteps of the intrepid climbers who summited Kilimanjaro last year for the same cause, they are aiming to raise £20,000 for this fantastic charity.
The Route
They will start down in Land’s End, going via C&W offices in Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh, up and over the Scottish Highlands, and finishing in John O’Groats, 900 miles later. You can keep track of their progress through the SATW twitter page where they will post a blog and photos. Please see all the details on the LeJog 999 website.

The Team
This is made up of 9 members, 7 of which are C&W staff from the newly formed Corporate Occupier & Investor Services (CIS) team.
What about you?
Numerous people within C&W will be joining them on various legs, including Andy Miles, Phillip Nye and Neil Wilkinson (can’t back out now guys!), and they would be happy for anyone else who is keen to join them, particularly on the Northern/Scotland legs.
If you can’t join the team, they would really appreciate your help in raising sponsorship by spreading the word to your clients, friends and family to help them achieve their target. Please visit the LeJog999 page on the JustGiving website for more details.
The team made it!
They managed to raise an incredible £15,000 for Schools Around The World, and would like to thank everyone who made donations. The money will go towards helping underprivileged children in Poland, Hungary, Czech, UK and Tanzania get schooling, and ensure they have a bright future.
Special thanks to their shirt sponsors: W1 Ltd, Overbury, Scott Osborn, Rockford Commercial, Hunters, Artemis Interiors, Paragon Management and Area Sq.
The team put together a collage with photos and quotes showing their adventures, pain, exhaustion, frustration, agony and celebration!
